I’ve spent my life around engines, inventory bins, and the people who keep them moving.
I started out fixing motorcycles, drawn to the precision and grit of the trade. But it was the stability — and the legacy — of the automotive world that pulled me in. I followed in my father’s footsteps, eventually joining him to run our family shop in Montana. That’s where I learned the value of service, speed, and doing things right the first time.
From there, I entered the dealership world — and everything changed. I discovered how much profit gets lost in the parts department, not because people aren’t working hard, but because they’re working blind. Over the next decade, I specialized in parts operations and training, helping teams make sense of their inventory and recover what they didn’t know they were missing.
As a Certified CTI Instructor with Carquest Technical Institute, I’ve trained countless professionals on the technical and operational side of automotive service. But I found my stride when I began educating parts managers — not just on systems, but on strategy.
